Meet Carlton Senior Living spotlight resident, Conception Ramos – Conception, or Connie, as she prefers, was born in the Philippines on May 30, 1933. She met her husband, Romeo Ramos in 1960. Connie, Romeo and their three children, Fey, Ronald and Milagros, relocated to the United States during the Vietnam War. Although her husband sadly passed away in 2013, he and Connie are the proud grandparents of six grandchildren.
While living in the Philippines, Connie attended Philippine Normal University in Manila and received a degree for teaching. She then taught in the Philippines for 10 years. Connie traveled all around Asia with her husband, Romeo, and they got to see the Great Wall of China.
Connie is very thankful for her kids as they support her and take care of her. She loves watching game shows and the news. Connie is a former resident of Carlton Senior Living Sacramento and now calls Carlton Senior Living Elk Grove home. Her favorite things about Carlton are the friendliness and kindness of the associates.
