phyllis-smithPhyllis was born in Burns, Wyoming and lived on a Farm near carpenter for 27 years. She attended the University of Wyoming and completed the studies at San Francisco State University. Her working career was 26 years as Grade School teacher in the Martinez School District. She has been retired for 31 years.

After retirement, Phyllis and her husband Bill visited Canada, Mexico and all 50 states in a Trailer; they flew to Hawaii, no bridges to Hawaii! They visited many National Parks, several Historical Sites and attended Dixieland Jazz Festivals. Both Phyllis and Bill felt fortunate that they were able to hike many trails during their Travels.

Phyllis and Bill moved into Downtown Pleasant Hill in April 2013. They visited many friends living here and liked the friendly atmosphere. Phyllis feels fortunate to live here. Phyllis takes advantage of many activities offered.

And she is a “Happy Camper”.
