Love & Wine, Better with Time

Our Carlton Senior Living Davis community was honored to be chosen as the caterer for the Yolo Wine Dinner during the month of love hosted by the Davis Senior Center.


Chef Roberto and Lead Cook Ben joined together to present a three-course plated dinner that was accompanied by a wonderful selection of both red and white wines.


The wines were hand selected by Larry Chandler from local Yolo County wineries, showcasing some of the best wine options in our very own backyard of Yolo County.

The first course was a winter panzanella salad with butternut squash, sweet potato and brussell sprouts.

The second course was a chicken thigh osso buco with parmesan polenta.

The final course was a vanilla panna cotta with spiced persimmons.





We would like to extend our appreciation to the Davis Sunset Rotary Club for providing and pouring the wine selection as well as to the Napa Valley Olive Oil Manufacturing Co. for providing the appetizer selections.
