Memory Care is a tough thing. There is a lot of chaos and odd behavior all the time. With that said, the staff at Poet’s Corner does a fantastic job. They are patient, caring, understanding and show genuine connection and affection for the residents. I am happy my mom is there.
To all the Carlton Family,
Bill says the celebration for his birthday made him happier than any event during his entire 95 years. Of course, having 14 family members come from many spots in the USA was tops, but a large element that gave him happiness was the Carlton staff. So many different people did such a magnificent job of responding to our wants and needs that we felt not only the love of blood relatives but also the creative support of our new Carlton family.
The dinner in the activities room was beautifully served. As usual, Andrew’s menu and dishes of food were delicious and generous; he even eliminated the foods that one of our picky daughters is allergic to.
Our family members observed first hand the compassionate, competent care Carlton residents receive.
Our gratitude overflows. Thank you, one and all, but especially Sarah, Andrea, Jake and his entourage. We’re proud to be part of the Carlton family.
Ruth and Bill Hall, Apartment 214
I continue to be so impressed with this place. My mother-in-law lost her husband of 59 years in mid May. She doesn’t drive and lived over an hour away from her son and I. She wanted to move closer, so we started researching places. During our research, we found about three places we wanted to tour. Carlton was the first place we saw and we loved it immediately. The place is immaculately clean and looks beautiful…more like a boutique hotel than assisted living. We brought our mom down for her own tour and she really liked it too. Two months later she was all moved in. She got a one-bedroom apartment. They painted it and put in new carpeting so it was fresh and clean for her move in. The staff is so friendly and goes out of their way to encourage my very shy mother-in-law to attend activities and dine with other residents. The best part is it’s only a few minutes away from us so we can visit often. There are always fun activities going on. It’s only been just over two weeks, but so far we all love this place! We couldn’t be happier that we found such a nice place so close to home.
Thank you to the Carlton Senior Living managers and team for all of the care, patience, time and efforts you put into helping my father. He was a blessed and happy man until he passed in March. My husband and I appreciate all that you did for him. We really want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sending us flowers for his funeral. Thanks again!
My grandparents have lived at Carlton Senior Living Downtown Pleasant Hill for almost a year and I could not be more proud of them. When I leave them I leave with confidence that their health and physical needs will be met. The staff is more than an outstanding service – they have become family. Thank you Carlton Senior Living for providing the support, peace, and safety our family has desired for my grandparents at this stage in their lives.
Both my husband and I were impressed with the delightful staff and how helpful they were. The community was pleasant and we had a chance to observe a band in the living room playing all the oldies but goodies from the 50’s – a lot of happy faces in the room. Next step is to bring Dad in for a visit. Fingers crossed.
I was pleasantly surprised when I went to visit my Grandmother at Carlton Senior Living Elk Grove for their Sunday brunch. It was comparable to a brunch I had on Easter that I paid $65 for. Really first-rate senior community. The staff was also very warm and friendly. Keep it up! PS. I never give 5 stars… 4 is my 5.
What can I say but, thank you for providing such a wonderful place for me to live. The meals are very good and the friends I have made are priceless. Lots for me to do around here, and the shopping shuttle makes life much easier. Again thank you and please keep up the good work.
