Terry’s Savory Shrimp Pasta Recipe

Terry, Associate Director, Carlton Senior Living Pleasant HillTo celebrate National Shrimp Day, we’re highlighting a flavorful shrimp recipe from the Cookbook For a Cure created by Carlton Senior Living Pleasant Hill. This beautifully illustrated cookbook features a collection of original recipes from Carlton associates, residents, families and friends of Carlton Senior Living and was created as a way to raise funds for Alzheimer’s research. The cookbook is especially important to Terry Barrett, Associate Director of Carlton Senior Living Pleasant Hill, who initiated the project and helped to coordinate the fundraising efforts.

The book features a variety of recipes including Connie’s Kentucky Spoon Bread, Marivi’s Breaded Chicken Parmesan and Chef Jon’s Summer Broccoli Salad. You can purchase a copy of the cookbook for only $15 and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association to benefit Alzheimer’s research.
